The Anderson Tech Business Association organizes more than 80 events throughout the year. Confirmed dates for events during the current school year will be detailed on our main event calendar.
This annual event, is held during the fall quarter (early December) to connect students with technology company representatives through series of informal round table discussions. Students have the opportunity to engage with potential employers to learn more about the company, culture, and current priorities. Some of the past participants include: Cisco, Google, HP, Symantec, IBM, Epson, Disney, Sony, Deloitte, Qualcomm, Intel, Microsoft, and Zynga.
Day-on-the-Job Tech Treks enable students to visit company offices and get a firsthand experience on what it is like to work at some of the most reputable tech companies today. In addition, students learn about the various employment opportunities within each organization and network with recruiters and current employees. AnderTech currently hosts DOJ events at three locations: Silicon Valley and Seattle in early November and Los Angeles throughout the school year, with most taking place in March and April.
AnderTech host top technology industry leaders on campus for presentation to students throughout the school year. Speakers include C-Suite visionaries at large tech companies as well as start-up founders.
We encourage our members to participate in AnderTech organized case competitions on campus sponsored by top tech companies. In past years we have hosted competitions with Amazon, Google, and AT&T.
AnderTech holds regular Alumni mixer events throughout the year. The majority of our event take place in the Los Angeles area, but we also have a strong presence in the San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle. These events are open to both Alumni and Current Students.
